Question 1

What is the best tour operator software?

Accepted Answer

There is no single best: it depends on fit. FareHarbor is best for starting with no monthly fee, Peek Pro and TripWorks for polished multi-activity operations, Rezdy and Bokún for OTA distribution, and a specialist like ExpeditionHQ for a single vertical such as helicopter tours.

Question 2

What is the cheapest tour operator software?

Accepted Answer

At low booking volume, a no-monthly-fee commission model like FareHarbor is cheapest. As volume grows, a flat or low-percentage model becomes cheaper because a 6 to 8% booking fee keeps rising with sales.

Question 3

Is there tour operator software with no commission?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Subscription platforms such as Rezdy charge no commission on direct bookings. ExpeditionHQ is not commission-free, but it is close: $500/mo plus 1% of online sales, versus 6 to 8% on booking-fee platforms.
